In March 2026, seeking to raise funds for the HEERA Grants Program, HEERA conducted an online fundraising campaign on milaap.com in collaboration with Hamari Pahchan raising a total of INR 1 Lakh. The funds were utilised to conduct sessions with underprivileged women, as well as provide them financial support to achieve their green entrepreneurship goals!
In April 2026, seeking to provide education and training to women affiliated with Hamari Pahchan, specifically focusing on providing knowledge and skills relating to establishing and operating a small-to-medium scale sustainable enterprise, our founder, Anika Podder, facilitated the HEERA Workshop, as part of which she conducted interactive sessions with 30 women at Hamari Pahchan, exploring the fundamentals of sustainable entrepreneurship, including market research, developing a business plan, securing funding, and go-to-market strategies.
A virtual webinar delivered in collaboration with Hamari Pahchan to 30 women entrepreneurs from underserved backgrounds. The session equipped participants to articulate their enterprises to external stakeholders such as bank managers and prospective partners. Bringing essential questions of sustainibility at the forefront, the webinar functioned in perfect alignment with HEERA's community centric model.
In June 2026, building on the virtual session, we organised and facilitated the second HEERA session in person in Delhi NCR, again in collaboration with Hamari Pahchan and delivered to 30 women from underserved communities. We worked with the NGO to secure a venue accessible to participants, coordinate attendance, and arrange the materials required for the session, designing all activities around paper-based tools that participants could replicate independently at no cost. The session was delivered bilingually and structured around group discussion and hands-on work.
